DGIS Content
Update Highlights – This release will include regulatory updates to the DGLs, DGAs, Packing Instructions, Variations, and any other type of regulatory content for Q1 2026. Listed below are examples of key changes:
- IATA
- Updated the Operator Variations per the review of the 2026 IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, 67th Edition eBook.
- UPS
- Updated the UPS International Air DGL per the UPS International Air Chemical Table revisions document dated 1/1/2026.
DGIS Functionality
Functionality improvements -This release will include DGIS functionality improvements along with bug fixes for Q1 2026. Listed below are examples of key changes:
- Overall Program Updates
- Added a field to the "Material Profiles" screen to be able to include the "Flashpoint" in the profile.
- Added a clear indicator to the Reporting screen that shows the export is in progress.
- Updated the header so the DGIS logo appears on all screens.
- For Users with access to the Audit feature, added the ability to access an "In Progress" audit in the "Audits" section of the Administration tab.
- Miscellaneous
- We've added support for REST-based API services. Please reach out to Technical Support with any questions, or for documentation.
- TDG
- Added the ability to use non-hazardous materials for a TDG shipment.
- Changed the severity of a validation message from "Error" to "Warning" when the words “Not Odorized” or “Not Odorized” or “Sans odorisant” is required immediately after the shipping name unless it is already part of the material "liquefied petroleum gas".
Bug Fixes - While there are a number of bug fixes in this release, a list of highlighted bug fixes can be found below.
- Miscellaneous
- Fixed an issue that caused the Canadian flag to not appear in the parts screen for some materials.
- Fixed an issue where the Subsidiary Hazard column was missing for IATA on the View Part screen.
- Fixed an issue where DGIS was incorrectly displaying "UN3363 dangerous goods in articles" as solid in the parts "Edit Material" Screen when filtered by UNID.
- Fixed an issue where the Material Profiles search was case sensitive.
- Fixed an issue where an error was produced when trying to remove linked profile from a part with exemptions.
- Fixed an issue where an auditor in the "Manager" role was assigned to a location they would be able to see all audits.
- Fixed an issue where E-signatures were cropped and missing parts on Shipment Papers when A4 paper size was selected.
- Fixed an issue where some locations were unable to be deleted.
- Fixed an issue where the Parts Reporting feature would occasionally time out.
- Fixed an issue where exemptions added to a part with multiple materials shows up only for the 1st material.
- Fixed an issue where the "Approved" audit status was not reset after editing shipment when multiple Custom Rules trigger.
- Fixed an issue where only the last override message was showing up when there were multiple overrides in a custom rule.
- Fixed an issue where only the message from Override screen is displayed when a rule is set in the "Override" screen and the "Custom Rules" screen.
- Fixed an issue where multiple override message is not displayed when multiple rules applies to a shipment.
- Fixed an issue where packages with multiple materials were getting an error or warning, and mixed up the material data for the second material.
- Fixed an issue where the SOAP API document service "GenerateAdditionalDocument" call was failing for ERG document generation.
- IATA
- Fixed an issue where users were unable to ship ID8000 with liquid UOM while the "Validate Packing Instruction" option was turned off.
- ADR
- Fixed an issue where Multi language shipments were printing an extra empty page for every shipment.
- Fixed an issue where the overpack statement prints on different page from corresponding outer packaging.
