Update Highlights – This release will include regulatory updates to the DGLs, DGAs, Packing Instructions, Variations, and any other type of regulatory content for Q1 2022. Listed below are examples of key changes:
- AFMAN
- Updated AFMAN Regulation in Content Editor Tables.
- Updated AFMAN Regulation Title References in DGIS.
- FedEx
- Updated validation for Ground shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico
- IATA
- Updated the Special Provisions to the IATA DGA per the 2022 IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, 63rd Edition.
- Updated the Packing Instructions 5-9 for the IATA DGA per the 2022 IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, 63rd Edition.
- Included Plywood Drum’ in the allowed outer packaging type list for PI Y845 and PI 371, PI Y644.
- Updated the Packing Instructions Variations 1-4 for the IATA DGA per the 2022 IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, 63rd Edition.
- Included Natural Wood Box Ordinary (4C1 ) for the allowed outer packaging types PI 956, PI 449 Single Packaging.
- Included Plastic Box Expanded (4H1 ) for the allowed outer packaging types.
- Applied corrections to the 2022 Class 8 and Class 9 Packing Instructions Variations lists.
- Corrected limited quantity liquid and solid maximum net qty for UN3316.
- Applied appropriate changes to the 2022 IATA existing Operator Variations.
- Updated the IATA Operator Variations with new or deleted variations per the 2022 IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, 63rd Edition.
- Applied appropriate changes to the 2022 IATA new or deleted State Variations.
- IMDG
- Updated DGL SG codes.
- Updated Stowage and Handling for UN1950 for 2020.
- Revised Total Quantity per Overpack Calculations.
- Updated Puerto Rico country code to PR.
Bug fixes
- 49 CFR
- Fixed print-out of Net Explosive Quantity per Overpack for Class 1 materials with a Subrisk of 1.
- Fixed print-out of edited Packing Group for all 49 CFR forms.
- Fixed invalid Quantity/UOM values when the rounding is set to zero (0).
- ADR
- Fixed Gross Mass with metric unit of measurement not printing on form.
- Fixed Shrink Wrap behavior for outer package type.
- Fixed translation of Inhalation hazard from English to German, Dutch and Swedish.
- Fixed secondary language edits that print on secondary form.
- Removed Swedish from Inhalation Hazard drop down list.
- Fixed Outer Package behavior to force user to select compatible outer package type.
- Fixed printed order placement of Non-Odorized on printed form.
- FedEx
- Fixed duplicate material being printed on form when a custom alignment of .31 is created for the top value.
- Fixed web service integration for shipments to Puerto Rico.
- Fixed NONE label so that it appears on OP900 and OP950 form when Dry Ice is packed outside the package.
- IATA
- Fixed Outer Package behavior to force user to select compatible outer package type.
- Updated Package markings on the Label diagram to display the net quantity for all packages in the shipment.
- IMDG
- Fixed print-out of Unit of measure so that it does not print on separate lines.
- Fixed UN3545 from printing a Subrisk.
- Fixed missing Segregation error messages that appear on Material screen.
- Fixed Segregation error for materials with a Subrisk of 1.
- Fixed Maritime Overpacks not calculating Package count.
- TDG
- Fixed comma placement between special provision for all materials.
- Fixed placement of flash point on printed form so that when a single digit is entered for the flash point the printed form will print value and degrees symbol on the same line.
- UPS
- Removed the text 'No value' for fields that are blank on the Package Instruction section on Material screen.
