Custom Overrides

Custom overrides can be created to override certain restrictions in the regulations. They can be managed via Administration > Custom Validation.

Creating New Overrides

To create a new Custom Override, click on Create Rule in the top right-hand corner.

You can then enter a Rule Name and Custom Override Description. The UNID is the only criteria that is required to trigger the override; packing group can also be chosen for the UNID you select. Regulation, Form Type, Carrier, and Transport Mode can be selected from the Shipping Mode tab.

Editing Existing Overrides

To edit an existing Custom Override rule, click Manage for the rule. The criteria for that rule will open on the screen. You can edit any of the criteria fields, then click the Save button at the top right of the screen to save any changes to that rule.

Deleting Overrides

To delete an existing Custom Override rule, click the Trash icon for that rule. Click the Delete button on the prompt and that rule will be deleted from the program.
